I finished radiation and that same day flew to Lansing, Michigan. My partner, Anne, already had been there for three weeks and she was about to start medical school. I very literally finished the treatment and went on to a different life. So after arriving, I was still quite fatigued for several more months, and I was taking afternoon naps for quite a while. I didn't work the first three weeks, and then I worked about three afternoons a week for about two and a-half months, and then I started working basically a full-time job. |
