In 1975 when I went in, like I was saying, my stomach was shoving against the esophagus. I could have choked. After I had the operation I had pains in my stomach that wouldn't quit. They said you cannot get a shot for another two, three hours. You just had one two hours ago. I'd say, feet go to sleep, toes go to sleep, foot go to sleep and work my way up. Mind over matter is what it is to try and endure the pain.
