Jackie's favorite resources
- Worm World
[http://www.nj.com/yucky/worm/]
Right now I'd say Worm World because of the worm projects. The class enjoys going there. It
has a lot of variety that the kids need.
- U of M library of Weather
[http://www.windows.umich.edu/data/weather.html]
Because we will go into a weather project soon
the U of M library of weather related info. There are a lot of great links
from this. Students will find a great deal of information related to
weather from one source.
- The Global SchoolNet Foundation
[http://www.gsn.org/]
To keep me up to date on projects that are available, I am on the listserv for The Global SchoolNet Foundation. But I also go to the
sight to look at what else might be available or what may have been tried
before.
- The Explorer Database
[http://explorer.scrtec.org/]
Then of course, for help with lesson plans and student made programs, I go to The Explorer Database for teachers. It is out
of the University of Kansas. The address has changed recently so I need to
go back to my home page and make adjustments.
