The light round object is a spore of a root fungus called Glomus intraradix . This spore inside the root tissue of Sorghum. These spores are rich in oil droplets. The oil serves as energy storage for the fungus. This is especially important since the absorbtion of nutrients from the soil by the fungus consumes a lot of energy.
