My family

I came from quite a large family. I have four brothers and three sisters. We came from a family where there was two half sisters and one half brother. So there was quite a bit to deal with in a way. Except I was the young one of four boys so that wasn't too bad. I got babied maybe more than some of them, but I never thought so. I have two children, my daughter, I have a daughter who is 33 years old. Her and her husband live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. They have, as I said, two children, a boy and a girl. I have a son who is 30 years old. He is married to a very lovely gal. And right now his wife let him come up here to be us for a month. I'm very fortunate to have a daughter-in-law that would let her husband go for that length of time. We think a lot of her. We think a lot of all our children. No one in our family has cancer. Except my mother who I would say died of a female-type cancer which was just nothing I could connect myself with. When they told me I had that, I said they're wrong, they gotta be wrong. You know, I just don't have this type of thing. It's not in the history.
