Family Communication

Bringing your relationships to completion requires open and honest communication. One of the first steps in honesty may be acknowledging the fact that you are nearing the end of your life.

We live in a culture that doesn’t like to talk about dying. Those around you may feel awkward or reluctant to speak about the topic honestly. But unless the people close to you recognize where you stand on life’s journey the business of healing and completing your relationships cannot really begin.

There are ways to improve communication and help family members share fully in this phase of your life. You may find it easier to make those improvements if you take a good look at the style of communication you are used to and the attitudes you bring to openness in conversation.
