Scalloped Potatoes
Number of Servings 7   Serving Size 3/4 cup

Quantities Ingredients
5 cups (about 2 pounds)raw potatoes, washed peeled and sliced
1/4 cupflour
1/4 cupmargarine
1/2 cuponion, sliced thin
1 1/2 cupslow fat milk


Equipment Instructions

  • sharp knife
  • cutting board
  • measuring cup
  • saucepan

  1. Oil or spray the bottom and sides of baking dish.
  2. In the oiled baking dish, place about 1/3 of the potatoes, margarine, flour and onion.
  3. Continue to add layers until all of the potatoes, margarine and flour are used.
  4. Heat milk in saucepan. Pour milk evenly over the potatoes. The baking dish should be no more than 3/4 full.
  5. Bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
