- Oil or spray the bottom and sides of baking dish.
- In the oiled baking dish, place about 1/3 of the potatoes, margarine, flour and onion.
- Continue to add layers until all of the potatoes, margarine and flour are used.
- Heat milk in saucepan. Pour milk evenly over the potatoes. The baking dish should be no more than 3/4 full.
- Bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
