Turkey a la King

Quantities Ingredients
1/2 cuponion, chopped
1/2 poundground turkey, or 2 cups chopped, cooked turkey
1 cupMedium White Sauce (see page Sauces-5) or Magic Sauce (Sauces-3)
1 teaspoonchicken bouillon, (optional) (or 1/2 teaspoon salt)
2 cupscanned or frozen mixed vegetables, cooked

  • sharp knife
  • cutting board
  • measuring cup
  • frying pan
  • stirring spoon
  • sauce pan

  1. SautŽ onion and turkey in frying pan. Cook until ground turkey is browned.
  2. Add white sauce, bouillon or salt, and vegetables. Stir until heated through.

NOTES: Variations: To decrease sodium, omit bouillon or salt. If using bouillon cube, crush before adding to mixture.Serving Suggestion: Serve over toast, Biscuits (see page Breads-2) or rice.
