- Peel and slice potatoes. Cook in water until soft. Pour off all the water. Put cooked sweet potatoes in large mixing bowl. Cool for about 10 minutes. Mash.
- Add margarine, sugar and eggs. Stir or mix together.
- Add flour, nutmeg, allspice and milk. Mix together.
- Add the vanilla. Mix. Pour in pie shell.
- Bake at 350¡F for about 30 to 45 minutes.
