Fruit Flavored Gelatin
Number of Servings 4   Serving Size 1/2 cup

Quantities Ingredients
1 cupcold fruit juice (use 100% juice)
1 packageunflavored or flavored gelatin*
1 cupheated juice (orange, pineapple or grape)
 sliced fruit (optional)


Equipment Instructions
  • mixing bowl
  • measuring cup
  • saucepan
  • mixing spoon

  1. Measure 1/4 cup of the cold fruit juice into a mixing bowl. Sprinkle gelatin on top of fruit juice.
  2. Heat one cup fruit juice and add to the gelatin mixture.
  3. Add the remaining cold fruit juice (3/4 cup) and stir. Place in the refrigerator until set (firm).

NOTES: *Flavored gelatin is higher in calories than unflavored gelatin.Variation: To make finger jell, use 2 package gelatin and 1 1/4 up heated juice. Use a square (8x8) pan. Mix jell and heated juice until dissolved. Chill. Cut in squares after set.The grape juice was the type of juice used in the Nutritional Analysis.
