1/2 pound | hamburger |
1 can (8 ounces) | tomato sauce |
2 teaspoons | dried oregano leaves |
1/8 teaspoon | minced garlic |
1/8 teaspoon | pepper |
1/4 cup | grated Parmesan Cheese |
1 | medium onion, chopped |
1/2 | small green pepper, chopped |
2 cups (8 ounces) | shredded Mozzarella cheese |

Instructions |

- 2 cookie sheets or pizza pans

- Preheat oven to 425¡F.
- Cook and stir hamburger in frying pan until light brown. Drain.
- Mix tomato sauce, oregano, garlic and pepper in bowl.
- Divide pizza dough in half. with floured fingers, pat each half into an 11-inch circle on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Spread sauce over circles.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese. hamburger, onion, green pepper and Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake until cheese is light brown., 20 to 25 minutes.

NOTES: Variations: For pepperoni pizza, use 1 cup sliced pepperoni instead of the hamburger. For Shrimp pizza, use 1 can (4 1/2 ounces) broken shrimp, rinsed and drained, instead of the hamburger. For combination pizza, add 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms and 1/2 cup sliced pitted olives to topping of pizza. fat Italian Sausage Pizza, use 1/2 pound bulk sausage instead of hamburger. For miniature pizzas, divide the dough into 6 equal parts. Pat each part in to a 6-inch circle on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Layer sauce and toppings on each circle. Bake 15-20 minutes. |
