As far as pain management now, I don't have a lot of pain now but sometimes in winter when I'm walking on an icy patch I take great pains to make sure I don't slip. Sometimes, I can feel it. There is an implant in there and there are screws in there. Sometimes, like they say, when it rains it even hurts a little bit. I just view it as something I have to live with. It is not severe pain. It is just an occasional, dull kind of ache. I'm supposed to go on check ups to make sure that it doesn't come back. But the chances are really, really slight that it will.
