Difficult starting college

I started college on crutches. That was really hard and I ended up dropping out one semester. Then I had to go through my follow-up surgery and then the infection. It just made it really hard to get started with my life. Now that that's all over I'm pretty much ready to go. I don't have a problem saying the word cancer. I know it alarms other people when I say I've had cancer. They instantly grab your leg and its like, what? It doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me, but I guess to other people it is.
