Cost is a factor in pain management, especially since I've chosen to incorporate acupuncture. My insurance covers part of the cost of acupuncture but not the full cost. As far as the medication goes, they are just enormous. I just kind of close my eyes to it and realize that what I'm getting is pain management and not a new couch, not a vacation, not a rug. And it's frustrating at times, but if I'm in constant pain I'm not enjoying my life. There we are.
