Describing the pain

Cancer in my family

It was a small cell cancer

What I had was what they call small cell cancer and small cell cancer cannot be operated on. The last time, when I had to go back after I had my chemotherapy, prior to radiation, he said what happened was it metastasized. The way they explain that is say you're popping popcorn and you take the bag when its done and you dump it out and there's one or two kernels left in the bottom. All of sudden, ping!! That's what it is with the cancer bit. When it metastasizes you don't know where it's going.
