One nurse came in and she was examining me and she was examining the lump, this was pre-surgery, and was examining it and she said, "Yep, feels like breast cancer to me. How would you like to come over and let my students examine you?" I said, no, thank you very much. But at that time I wasn't really very assertive. I was on unsure footing. I never have been a particularly assertive person. You know, I get angry. And my was of dealing with things is if somebody makes me mad that person just never see my face again. I had to learn there are other ways. Just keeping it inside me was not necessarily a good thing to do.
