A lot of the time it was throbbing just because it was so swollen. I remember just lying there a lot and just wanting it to go away. I had never thought that I didn't have to be in pain. I considered it to be a painful thing that I was going through so obviously there was going to be some pain. There were times when I did want a pain pill but I guess the way I was brought up was thinking that if you go through a surgery or you have a medical problem there is always going to be a certain amount of pain. It can't be alleviated completely, so I was willing to undergo a certain amount of pain. But I had a level that I didn't want to go above.
