When he was in the hospital he had what is called a PCA. Patient Controlled Analgesia. When he had his surgery he had a thoradesis done to cause the two coverings to the lungs to adhere so they don't form fluid. And he had that procedure done and while he was in the hospital he had an IV. He had, we always called it a Dick Tracy watch. It was a little thing that wrapped around his wrist. He could administer pain medication by pushing a button. It is self directed and it's called a PCA.
