I made him a promise when he was in the hospital that he would not be hospitalized again. He made a choice not to have anything done experimentally as far as chemotherapy. And he didn't want to be any sicker than he already was. We had a family practice physician that we contacted for everything other than pain control, and the pain was handled totally by the pain clinic. Believe it or not after he was released from the hospital when he had his thorodesis, he never had another visit from a physician except for the pain clinic doctors.
