I hate to complain, but . . .

The whole family in pain
When I'm in a time when the pain has been bad for a while, it is very discouraging and I feel like I will never be able to just live a normal life and have energy to do the things I want to do. That is the one thing that I've been really surprised to discover but it is really true is that dealing with chronic pain takes a lot of energy. Dealing with the pain takes energy you might want to use to do other things.
