I hate to complain, but . . .

The other thing I found to be very important is being aware of getting enough rest, which is an especially hard thing to do after being sick because you feel like there's so many things you want to do but I found if I'm physically tired the pain becomes much more uncontrollable. The other thing I found very, very important is my emotional state. I've noticed when I'm very upset emotionally the pain again tends to be more intense. I don't avoid getting upset. I just try not to stay there very long.
