Leukemia is unpredictable

I was in what's called a chronic phase. It is unpredictable. One week you can be in chronic stage, two days later you can be in the accelerated stage which just means that your immune system is functioning less and less and you have more immature white blood cells. Treatment, when you're in the accelerated phase or the blast phase, is ineffectual. The day I found out about the cancer all my relatives got called and tested to see if they could be donors.
