I've already become tolerant to a lot of the medication. Earlier this year I had to have three surgeries on the kidney. The amount of pain medication I need to get any relief is very, very high. That really bugs me because I would just like to get 50 milligrams of Demerol and be zoned out like everybody else. Instead of being on 100 milligrams IV every hour and still in pain and I've also been told that that tolerance reverses itself and that you can switch from drug to drug.
