What if I can't afford it?
And I finally found the cancer pain management program. I called them, they asked me questions. I told them I couldn't leave the house, I couldn't cook, I couldn't do my artwork, I couldn't do anything because the pain so overwhelming. As soon as I told them where I was, which ironically happened to be in the same hospital, they were flabbergasted because they couldn't believe that the doctors in that hospital did not call this department to find out what to do for me. Then they gave me the terrible, terrible message that I didn't want to hear but I was afraid I was going to hear, it was that I had to go back on drugs.
