Two to three weeks ago, I talked to the physician in charge of the pharmacological pain management center in Miami, where my wife is now a patient. We live in an area probably thirty-five to forty miles away from where she's getting treatment. I asked the doctor, "why is there no pain clinic of this nature where we live?" In the entire Broward County, which is a very large county in Southern Florida, there is no pharmacological pain management clinic. There are pain management clinics for such things as physical therapy, psychological therapy. There is help out there, but you can't find it. This was our frustration.
