Relatively pain free
Donna got me through it
People need to be told
I'm angry for others
I asked good questions
My life now
Grateful, but frustrated
I know my daughter doesn't like me to boast about her, but I'm going to have to say something about her. If it wasn't for Donna, I don't know where I would be today. She's the one that fought for me, researched for me, internetted for me and she finally found a name in my city of a cancer pain management program. I'm no longer hung up on the word addict, because my daughter kept saying to me, "you're not an addict." Because for months I refused to take anything and she kept saying, "you're not an addict, you're not an addict."
