Using Ibuprofen and Morphine

By using the Ibuprofen with the morphine we were able to spare some of that morphine dose using another drug to relieve pain other than the Morphine has helped Lou to tolerate the doses that we're giving him better. We've been able to not have to increase the morphine dose real high. Using the Ibuprofen has helped relieve the pain. I think sometimes what happens, you go too high on the morphine. Then you do get some of the nasty side effects like the hallucinations. By using two drugs together we haven't had to go up on that morphine dose quite so high. And it really worked out quite nicely.
