Except for the epidural catheter pain relief, all other pain relief that my husband had, he was a zombie. He slept all the time. There was absolutely no quality of life. And we felt we had such a short time left we wanted a good quality of life. When my husband died, just before he died he said, "I have absolutely no pain." And this is the way it should be.
